A nyelvtanulás hőse

Ahhoz, hogy a nyelvtanulás hőse légy, lehetsz elfoglalt csepeli anyuka, vagy körbeutazhatod a világot. De az is elég, ha elmész a Hősök terére. Nem muszáj feltétlenül szóba elegyedned a külföldi turistákkal. Már az is óriási, ha körbenézel, és mepróbálod angolul elmondani, amit látsz. Hősök tere is in Budapest. Its name translates as 'Heroes' Square' to English. You can travel to this square under the ground. This was the first subway on the European continent.

Around the square there are beautiful buildings. On the one side you see the Museum of Fine arts. Opposite the museum there is Műcsarnok. A group of statues stand in the middle of the square. The riders represent the seven leaders of the ancient Hungarian tribes. An angel is placed above them, on the top of a column.

The column is between two half-circles. These half-circles are decorated with the statues of Hungarian heroes. Among them, you can see our first king too. Behind the column a bridge takes you over a lake. The lake belongs to the City Park, which is behind the square.

Near the square you can taste Hungarian cuisine in a famous restaurant called Gundel. If you are with your family, take your kids to the Zoo, which is next to the restaurant. You can't miss it: two elephants greet you in front of its entrance.

Ha messze van a Hősök tere, kezdd a saját településed főterével! Legközelebb már nem lesz gond megérteni az idegenvezetőt, még ha angolul is meséli el, mit lehet látni. Budapesten számos helyszínen (pl. Operaház, Parlament, buszos túrák) hallgathatsz angol nyelvű idegenvezetést.
